My godmother, aunt Rhonda, battled breast cancer for four years before sadly losing her battle. Needless to say, having someone so close to me go through something so terrible has changed me forever. Thus, there are a few charities that are very dear to my heart for helping others who are battling cancer.

To show our appreciation for the person Aunt Rhonda was, my sisters and I donated our hair November of 2012.

This last May, I decided to chop my hair off again, and once again donate to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths

Another charity my family fully supports is relay for life. Cancer has affected my family and friends in so many ways I can't even begin to explain. We started fundraising for relay events while Aunt Rhonda was still with us, and have continued to every summer since.
